Andy Cull
General Manager
Andy joined Total Safety in January 2022 and serves the company as UK General Manager. Andy brings over 25 years of experience in rental and industrial support services ranging from Emergency Rescue through to commercial training.
Andy’s connections with Total Safety date back to 2010 when he played a key role with the introduction of Centralised Confined Space Monitoring to the UK market.

Sean Green
Engagement & Compliance Manager
Sean joined Total Safety in Oct 2017 as the ERT and Training Manager. Sean’s previous career includes 30 years in the RAF Fire Service and County Fire Service as a Station Manager, including 7 years at the Fire Service College. Upon leaving the Fire Service, he has worked in Renewables, Oil and Gas and Utilities for the past 10 years.

Rob Evans
Lead Safety Trainer & Assessor
Rob brings more than 40 years of front-line safety experience to Total Safety, beginning with distinguished service in the Royal Air Force Fire Service and later spanning utilities and power-generation sites across the UK. A qualified Tutor/Assessor with additional certifications in Internal Quality Assurance and Fire Safety Risk Assessing, he is driven by one goal: delivering industry leading training that keeps people safe in the most demanding environments.

Craig Smith
UK Financial Controller
Craig joined Total Safety in January 2016 as the company’s UK Financial Controller. A Chartered Certified Accountant of 20+ years with a wide range of financial and leadership skills covering all aspects of business management. Craig’s experience includes roles as Operation Director, Company Secretary, HR Manager, Finance Manager and Financial Controller for companies based within both Home and International markets. A trusted financial professional providing exceptional levels of support to commercial and operational teams to ensure ongoing improvements.

Jason Hackett
Aberdeen Operations Manager
Jason joined Total Safety in August 2023 as the Aberdeen Operations Manager. An Oil & Gas professional that has accumulated 15 years of experience in a variety of related roles within the upstream and downstream markets that have all contributed to a passion for operational excellence. In his spare time Jason likes to unwind cycling, sailing, family time and boat restoration. Prior to life in the Oil & Gas sector Jason spent 23 years in the Royal Air Force.

Gareth Holden
Operations Manager
Gareth joined Total Safety in 2025 as Operations Manager, bringing 17 years of hands on experience gained at ESS. His extensive track record covers everything from confined space entry and breathing air logistics to large scale shut downs . Previous roles have included Service Technician, BA product specialist all the way up to Industrial Operations Manager working on refinery's, chemical plants and power plants.
Gareth has collaborated with Total Safety for many years on projects including . This close working relationship and his passion for operational excellencenow underpins his leadership of our UK operations.

Gary Cooling
UK National Sales Manager - EfW
Gary joined Total Safety in March 2020. Gary brings a wealth of safety experience to Total Safety which has been gained over a long career that has taken him across multi-sectors within high-hazard industries, more recently working in oil, gas and petrochemical sectors. Prior to joining Total Safety he worked in the Emergency Planning Department for a global industrial fire & rescue company being responsible for working with COMAH operators by providing incident management and emergency preparedness training services and solutions.

Karen Kirby
Marketing Manager
Karen has worked with Total Safety for a number of years. Karen has over 20 years experience in marketing and business development and currently holds CIM Chartered Marketeer status. With both Bachelor and Post Graduate qualifications, Karen has a worked with a range of businesses ranging from blue chip to start up businesses. Outside of work Karen enjoys spending time with her family and is passionate about travel, health and fitness.

Allan Massey
Trainer & Emergency Response Supervisor
Allan joined Total Safety after 15 years in the British Army and various roles in facilities management and working for the Mines Rescue Service. During his time in the Army, Allan worked on Challenger 2 Main Battle Tanks and a joint specialist unit conducting Chemical, Biological and Radiological defence and detection.
With Total Safety, Allan uses his years of front line experience to deliver first-class training courses on site rescue, confined spaces and working at height.
