Purpose statement:
Total Safety is seeking a proactive Industrial Safety Specialist to support our expanding portfolio of high risk clients across the UK. You'll play a critical role in delivering safety excellence during outages, TARs, and daily operations at some of the UK’s most complex, safety critical sites.

Duties And Responsibilities
As part of our Downstream team, you’ll play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships and driving growth across multiple service lines, including:
Confined space entry & rescue
C&G & ECITB accredited CS/WAH Training solutions
Gas detection systems
Permit to work & compliance
Digital Confined Space Monitoring
TAR/project safety coordination
You’ll be the link between our clients and our service teams, helping deliver reliable, high quality safety solutions that support operational excellence, reduce risk, and ensure compliance.

Line Manager feedback
Annual appraisals
Compliance with the requirements of the QOHSE & LPS management system
Client communications are maintained, relevant and up to date, including course overviews and supporting documentation
Qualifications and skills
Experience in industrial safety, ideally across multiple service offerings
Strong knowledge of the EfW, petrochemical, and refinery sectors
Proven track record in business development, sales, or client relationship management
Ability to work cross functionally with technical, operational, and commercial teams
Self starter mindset with excellent communication and organisational skills
Computer skills (CRM, MS Office)
Physical and additonal requirements
Must hold a full valid UK driving licence
Ability to work both on site and remotely
