Total Safety Supports Operations At Cruachan Mountain

Total Safety was pleased to support site operations at Cruachan Mountain, providing Emergency Response Team (ERT) cover across both day and night shifts, along with a compressed air trailer for entrants to help maintain safe, controlled and efficient working conditions.

Located approximately 1 km inside Ben Cruachan, the turbine hall is home to four generators situated within Argyll and Bute’s highest mountain, which rises to 1,126 metres (3,694 ft). The scale and complexity of the environment makes robust safety support essential.
